A practicing Architect and Interior Designer for nearly 20 years, Janet understands the elements of a home from the inside out. As a Realtor, she blends this knowledge with attentive service and focus on detail so that transactions go smoothly. She knows that buying or selling a home is a major financial decision and is there to provide her clients with honest, educated advice to help them through the process.
Janet is a strong advocate for both buyers and sellers. She brings an Architect’s eye to the search for a new home and can be counted upon to evaluate floor plans and design possibilities. Her experience with Interior Design allows her to get homes looking their best before they go on the market, clearing the way for a quick and profitable sale.
After consulting on projects ranging from single-family homes to historical renovations to large commercial projects, real estate was a natural step for Janet’s career. Working with clients combines her affinity for people as well as for homes, and she considers their success her reward.
A decade-long Bay Area resident and current Alameda homeowner, Janet was drawn to Harbor Bay Realty because of its reputation as the premiere real-estate company. She is enthusiastic about the opportunity to help people not only meet but exceed their expectations. “I’ve always enjoyed creating and completing projects with clients,” she says. “…by taking time to truly understand what my clients want, I am often able to help them achieve more than they expected.”
Janet is a native of South Florida, where she grew up enjoying outdoor activities such as boating and horseback riding. She attended the University of Michigan College of Architecture and today is a member of the City of Alameda Historical Advisory Board, as well as a volunteer for the Bay Farm School Parent Teachers Association. Gardening and craft projects occupy her spare time, as do reading, enjoying live music, walks along the Alameda shoreline, and watching her children as they learn and grow.
